A3a I wouldn’t have reacted like Tom. He should have asked his laptop from his colleagues. She shouldn’t have done that. I would have tried to understand his situation. That was not right thing. He could have alarmed his neighbors. His reaction is so rude. He could have said “ You need to meet him first” She should not have done that. I would have reminded them to pick it up. B3a She may have found a new job. Or she could have been fired. They may have not had enough in common. They might have had an argument. She must have forgotten about it. Or she could have been sick. He must not have seen me. He might have been in a real hurry. C2a I have this friend Justin, who’s very emotional. Like, one minute he’s laughing, and the next minute he’s like totally depressed. Some little thing happens, and he was like “I am so upset”. I guess he’s like too sensitive. Actually, he’s like me. Maybe that’s why we get along. We’ve been friends for like 10 years.
